A website is certainly the core of your business; it is the virtual representative of your business regardless if your business exists physically or not. In case you are doing online business, customers are not able to see you physically like the way they can when they were dealing with traditional company . This is why; customers do judge you by your websites. You can say that the good web design will be an important part for your business.
What if you are operating traditional company? Can you allow your salespersons to be dressed in bad or casual clothing as they are handling your clients? By dressing your staff professionally, you are convincing your clients that you do value quality. This works mainly because first impressions issue.
Similarly, the same situation is with a website. If your website is came up with shabbily and looks a lot like 6 minute “quick fix” , you are undoubtedly shouting to your visitors that you are indeed far from experienced so you choose not to care about quality.
On the opposite, when you have a completely professional looking website layout, you are offering any visitors the impression that you possess given meticulous focus on every detail and you value professionalism. You are well prepared, committed and you really mean business.
Then again, it’s also wise to have something associated with your company smartly designed. Starting from business cards to letterheads to advertising catalogues, every little thing has point. The reason is because when you expand your business, these stuff turn into the face of your business. Again, imagine the “salesperson dressed shabbily” analogy, and you will get my point.
